John Fanestil, Executive Director at the Foundation for Change, will speak at the Sunday service of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of San Dieguito. The Fellowship’s Generosity Sunday offering will be given to the Foundation for Change.
John will speak about “crossing borders” as a practice that promotes both spiritual growth and social justice. He will also give an update on the work he has been doing as part of an interfaith coalition working to restore public access to Friendship Park, where generations of San Diegans and Tijuanenses have met to visit across the border fence John was detained and forcibly ejected from Friendship Park by the Border Patrol this spring.
